Twenty-five years after it was launched as the foremost gathering of community transportation professionals, the Community Transportation EXPO returns to Indianapolis, Ind., for its silver anniversary. EXPO returns to its original home to celebrate twenty-five years through a series of outstanding workshops, training sessions, social events and, of course, the National Community Transportation Roadeo competition. All this takes place in Indianapolis, June 5-10, 2011.
More than just a location to recall the roots of EXPO, Indianapolis is an exciting gathering point in many ways. Its visitor-friendly downtown is ideally structured to allow EXPO attendees the full range of attractions. Moreover, for the first time, our EXPO hotels will be co-located on the same block and directly connected to the Indiana Convention Center, allowing for attendees easy access to EXPO events and activities. Indianapolis is often referred to as the Crossroads of America, due to its ideal location as a transportation meeting point. In that sense, the Crossroads of America is a fitting setting not only to celebrate twenty-five years of EXPO, but also continue our ongoing and important discussion of how to better connect our communities and improve mobility for all.
A special video greeting from CTAA's EXPO Director, Charlie Dickson.
