Regionalizing Your Transit Network: Erasing Artificial Boundaries

Wednesday, May 23
9:00-10:30 a.m.
Room: Baltimore Convention Center, Room 323

Community transit vehicles are the only mode of transportation that sometimes needs to stop at county lines. Funding and regulatory barriers can prevent transit services from taking passengers to their destinations, which may lie in another distant community. Job opportunities and health care for rural residents may be found several counties away. This workshop will show how transit programs have regionalized their service to provide seamless services.
