EXPO 2012 May 20-25 in Baltimore, Md

Transit Facilities: How to Get Started: Before Bricks and Mortar

Wednesday, May 23
9:00-10:30 a.m.
Room: Baltimore Convention Center, Room 330

The most challenging part of a transit facility project occurs before any construction begins. Hard questions need to be answered, such as where should the facility be located, what size does it need to be, and perhaps most difficult, how do you pay for it. A diversified financing plan, with funding from multiple sources, is often the key to success.

Moderator: Dave Marsh, CARTS, Austin, Texas
Presenter: Barb Cline, Prairie Hills Transit, Spearfish, S.D.
Presenter: Jim Moulton, Addison County Transportation Resources, Middlebury, Vt.
