Thursday, May 24
8:30-10:30 a.m.
Room: Baltimore Convention Center, Room 332

Since 1980, the number of Americans needing dialysis treatments for Chronic Kidney Disease has grown ten-fold. DigitalCT magazine produced a report on this healthcare trend and its impact on community and public transportation earlier this year. This session builds from that report, discussing the myths, rumors and reality of dialysis transportation and will be led by both the author of that DigitalCT article and an individual directly involved in non-emergency medical and dialysis transportation.
