Lt. General Russell Honore to Address Community Transportation EXPO
Best known for his dynamic role in leading the Defense Department's response teams to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, CTAA is pleased to announce that Lt. General Russell Honore will provide the conference Keynote Address for all Community Transportation EXPO attendees on Wednesday, June 5 on the subject of "The New Normal: Leadership and Preparedness in the 21st Century." In an era where safety and security is paramount in community and public transportation, you won't want to miss his timely message of leadership and preparedness.
The annual Community Transportation EXPO is your chance to join colleagues from around the nation in a setting dedicated to fresh ideas, innovative products and services, networking and learning. What better location than New Mexico, which is home to a diverse, innovative and thriving transit network that includes all modes of transit -- from regional rail to regional rural transit, bus rapid transit to commuter-focused services. In fact, transit across the Land of Enchantment is as rich and varied as the state itself.
The conference has several elements:
- The National Community Transportation Roadeo
- One, two or three day intensive training sessions
- The Community Transportation Trade Fair
- Professional Development Sessions on vital mobility issues, and
- Dynamic general sessions
